Ochùn

|IT| Nella Santeria cubana, Ochun è soprattutto l’orisha dell’amore, del matrimonio e della maternità. Nell’amalgama del sincretismo religioso Ochun viene identificata con la Patrona di Cuba, la Virgen de la Caridad del Cobre. Eternamente allegra, viene annunciata dal tintinnare dei campanelli e dai suoi cinque bracciali. Viene invocata anche per assistere le partorienti e problemi d’amore. Ochun aveva salvato una volta l’umanità avvisando a Olofin (Dio), perciò questa potente dea è nominata anche come la messaggera di Olofin.

|EN| In Cuban Santería, Ochùn is an Orisha of love, maternity and marriage. She has been syncretized with Our Lady of Charity (La Virgen de la Caridad del Cobre), Cuba’s patroness. She is associated with the color yellow, metal brass, peacock feathers, mirrors, honey and anything of beauty, her principal day of the week is Saturday and the number she is associated with is 5. She is the river goddess.

|FR|Ochuù est l’orisha des eaux, des rivières et de l’amour. Elle est la déesse de la beauté et elle a une forte liaison avec le monde spirituel. Elle est représentée par le jaune et l’or. Elle a pour attribut un miroir. Elle est l’une des épouses de Shangô.
